Cay Morales- Co-founder & Director
Cay Morales is the co-founder and Director of Gateway Surrogacy Agency. Cay’s twin sons were born through surrogacy in 2015. Ms. Morales is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Before starting Gateway Surrogacy, her career focused on family strengthening and support, child protection, foster care, and adoption. She lives in Philadelphia with her partner and sons.
Esh Chavez- Seasoned Nursing Professional
Esh Chavez is a seasoned nursing professional with a degree specializing in medical and surgical care. Her extensive career encompasses diverse healthcare settings, including prestigious tertiary hospitals, where she has provided invaluable assistance to clients undergoing In vitro procedures. With over 13 years of experience in the customer service industry, Esh excels in fostering strong and enduring relationships with clients, prioritizing their satisfaction and well-being above all else. Her tenure as a member of a clinician team in a prominent US-based company underscores her commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and support. Diligent, compassionate, and dedicated, Esh strives for excellence in every aspect of her work, driven by a genuine passion for improving healthcare outcomes and enriching the lives of those she serves.
Alex Greene-Medical Coordinator & Egg Donor Recruiter/Coordinator
As a single Intended Father, Alex had pursued adoption, egg donation, and surrogacy. It was not an easy process for a young man who wanted to be a parent at a young age. Inspired by his own journey to parenthood, Alex Joined our team in 2018. He works directly with the medical teams to ensure smooth egg collection, embryo development, and embryo transfer. Alex also recruits and coordinates Gateway Surrogacy’s international egg donors, mainly from Europe, Africa, and South America. Alex holds a bachelor’s in nursing. Before working for Gateway Surrogacy, Alex worked as a nurse in the long-term care industry.
Karen Gonzalez- Senior Clients Relations
Karen Gonzalez is a highly experienced and respected professional in the surrogacy and assisted reproduction industry.
Before joining Gateway Surrogacy, Karen worked for various IVF Clinics as a Support Coordinator to IPs and surrogate mothers. She also has some experience in medical tourism, mainly cosmetic surgery, and dental care.
Karen is highly knowledgeable about surrogacy regulations and takes her time to understand each client’s situation to determine the best course of action for parenthood. She is a caring individual and constantly thinks of ways to make the process safe and smooth for our IPs and surrogates. Rest assured that you are in knowledgeable and caring hands when working with Karen. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her family when she is off the clock. Karen is also fluent in English and Spanish.
John Costakis -Account Manager
As Accounts Manager, John’s day-to-day is filled with helping establish new surrogacy journeys with intended parents and surrogates, setting up and managing escrow accounts, and auditing information to ensure it is accurate for all the stakeholders in the journey. John has a long background working in project management and accounting in health care and human services. John holds a bachelor’s in English and an associate’s in accounting. When John is off the clock, he enjoys writing reviews on classic movies.
Vlad Boyko-Client Relations
Vlad joined our team because he strongly believes in our process and expertise. As a Clients Relations Specialist, Vlad is dedicated to creating and nurturing long-term relationships with our clients. He is committed to providing an exceptional education to each client about our process. After earning a bachelor’s in Health Informatics, Vlad began his career as a Quality Analyst helping medical facilities run efficiently and securing patient records. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing drums in a band, and traveling in his free time. Vlad is fluent in Ukrainian and Russian.
Estella Lugo-Surrogate Coordinator
Estella is a previous surrogate through Gateway Surrogacy and is now a Surrogate coordinator. She has worked with our surrogates internationally and domestically.
Estella has a passion for surrogacy and helping others complete their families. As a Surrogate Coordinator, Estella conducts introduction calls and is the first person potential surrogates meet when they apply. Estella enjoys welcoming and supporting our surrogates through their experience, even after the surrogacy process. Before joining our team, Estella worked as a medical assistant. Estella is a mother of five children and has her hands full when she is off the clock.
